Vehicle Detail

WILLY'S 4 X 4 PICKUP FACTORY KOENIG UTILITY BED This is a very rare model. There weren't very many '52 Willy's Overlands with the special Koenig Utiility Bed. It runs great........starts on a quarter turn every time........four-wheel-drive works perfect. The interior is good, all glass is there and no cracks and the windows roll up and down, gauges all work, lights and turn signals work, windshield wipers work, heater works, etc. The outside was painted about ten years ago and still looks good - there are just a few tiny chips in the paint. This was a daily driver and even used in parades! As you can see in the pictures, there are several built-in tool boxes along each side of the bed - they all lock. The floor jack, jumper cables, and all the other miscellaneous tools which are in the locked sections will be included with the truck. The engine is a Jeep Dauntless V6. It is a 12-volt with an alternator. It has a 3-speed manual transmission. The four-wheel-drive has super low gears. Not sure what they are, but it will climb up and over anything! Pretty sure it has positraction. It has air horns (loud) and a compressor. There are two pictures of the front of the truck. One with the heavy duty bumper and one without the bumper. The bumper must weigh 300 lbs. Whoever made it did an exceptional job, but I wanted to put a lighter bumper on. Now comes the problem......the Homeowners Association is giving me a hard time about working on the truck. For the things I want to do to the truck it is just too hard to do with an Association breathing down your neck. Whoever buys it will get the bumper inside the pickup bed so you can reattach it - the Assoc. just won't let me do it. The tread on the tires looks brand new, however, there is weather checking on the sidewalls so I would replace the tires if you plan to drive it a long distance. For a 60 year old truck, this is in exceptional condition. Again, it runs great, and looks "cute" according to my wife. You will have to do a few things on it to make it perfect, but we are not selling it for $30,000. We have a super low reserve (under $9,000) please don't ask what it is. It is also being advertised locally. It is being sold as is - where is with no returns. If you live locally, we encourage you to come buy and test drive it - you won't be disappointed. I have had the truck for about two years and really like it. Unfortunately, because of the Assoc. it has to go.....my loss is your gain.... Buyer is responsible for transportation. We require a deposit of $500 within 48 hours. Balance to be paid by cash, bank cashiers check or money wire transfer. Please don't bid on this if you don't have the money to pay for it. If you have questions or want more photos, let me know. Thanks for looking and good luck with your bidding! On Dec-03-11 at 12:52:30 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: WE HAVE LOWERED THE RESERVE $1,000.00 AND ADDED A "BUY IT NOW" PRICE. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!
