Hello and thanks for looking at my ad. Up for sale is my 1993 Pontiac Bonneville that I have owned for 7 years and has 184000 miles on it. As mentioned this car has nearly new tires with 95% tread left on Goodyear all seasons and the brakes were just worked on. All sections of brake lines with rust were replaced, new front calipers, new rear wheel cylinder, and new master cylinder. The brakes now work as good as, or better than, when I bought it 7 years ago. Here is a part of my list of repairs I have done over the years... New radiator and professionally rebuilt transmission -132,450 New radiator and heater hoses -135,435 new exhaust and catalytic converter -136-134 New water pump -138.245 new fuel pump -163,518 new engine (with around 110,000 miles on it) -166,066 new Duralast Gold battery -166,143 New Goodyear Viva 2 Tires -179,554 brakes re-done -183,570 The oil was changed every 3000 to 5000 miles depending on the driving conditions and weather. This car comes with a full size spare and a space saver spare. I have an extensive list of everything I have done to this car since I bought it, 59,300 miles ago! This would make for a great first car for a teen or a reliable commuter car for anyone! As I stated before, the motor was replaced, while I was waiting on replacing it I bought another car and that left this green beast as my back-up car because I needed the versatility of my little SUV. The reason I kept it for so long was because this car is so comfortable and smooth to ride that I couldn't give it up. The main reason I would like to sell it to you is because I am a college student and could really use the money. This car is in great mechanical condition and, for it's age, still looks pretty good for being 18 years old. This car would make a great daily driver or road trip car with its massive trunk and spacious interior. My friends and I are all around 6 feet tall and we are all comfortable riding it this Bonneville for hours on end. Powering this car is the proven reliable 3800 V6 motor found in many GM cars from the 90's and even several still use a variant of this motor, so what I am saying is parts are more then available and this motor is very reliable. Mated to it is a 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and works like a dream. Neither the motor or transmission make any "funny" noises. This car does NOT leak any oil or fluid. The A/C does not work currently, but there is a new A/C compressor on the motor. Also it takes a few seconds to build fuel pressure to start the motor, but there are absolutely no gas leaks whatsoever. Once the motor starts, it runs like a dream! I have taken great care of this car so it runs like a top, does not leak, and is more than safe (fun and comfortable) to drive. I am a non-smoker so no funky odors from the vents or upholstery. Currently I do not have pictures of the interior (I have not yet cleaned it yet), but it is a beige cloth interior with black floor mats. The headliner is still in fair shape. SOME FEATURES ARE... toasty hot heater, Sony Xplode AM FM Cd player with MP3 input, power windows, power locks, driver side mirror adjustment from inside, tilt steering wheel, airbags, front and rear center arm rest, 6 passenger seating with 6 seatbelts, alarm, remote start/ panic/ lock and unlock, a largenough trunk to fit up to 4 sets of golf clubs, fog lights, and a full instrument pannel with all of the guages. This car is very capable in all conditions including driving through 8-10 inches of snow. There are a few rust spots underneath, but they have been undercoated to protect the car from the elements. This is my first car, and I have taken great care of it and when I say it's in good driving shape, I mean that I would drive it all across the country if I had the urge to do so. To date (and yes my records include this as well) I have invested over $8000 in this car since I bought it in 2005, and I know I will never get even close to that out of it. I have taken this car from being fairly well worn out, and made it into a very road worthy automobile. If needed, I can deliver the car up to a few hundred miles away, but I will have to charge extra for doing so. Considering I would have to have 2 cars drive out (so I can get home) I would charge $1.25 a mile over 20 miles. Feel free to email me with any question you may have.
