In 1971, GM built 5,000 Corvette's with the LS5 454 (the same engine that came in station wagons and pick-up trucks), but only 188 left the factory with the aluminum-headed LS6. A real LS6 Corvette will sell for upwards of $150,000, and given its rarity, would not be driven in order to avoid damaging it. This car was built to drive.
