This is a unique Cadillac. If you are looking for a car that will out-muscle your buddy's muscle cars, this is it. It is not your Dad's old Cadillac. It would be a monster on the highway. It is around 400 hp, with front wheel drive. I purchased this car from the widow whose husband built it in the early 70's. He was a professional body man. Apparently he purchased the fiber glass body from Classic Roadsters Ltd. in North Dakota. He then hand built the car. It was built on a 1971 Eldorado chassis. Therefore, it is a front wheel drive with a 500 cubic inch engine. The car is patterned after a 1929 Rolls Royce convertible. The mileage on the car is 3,700 miles. The body is of very high quality. The body, interior, and top are in excellent condition. The fiber glass is around 1/4" thick. The louvered hood is metal. The top is electrically powered, and works beautifully, and fits better than on a new car. It has 6 like new whitewall tires, with lots of tread on them. It also has wire wheels. The builder was also a talented woodworker. All of the woodwork on the car is walnut, and it is all in excellent condition. The interior is beautiful, and very clean. The carpets, dash, steering wheel, and seats are not damaged. This car has been in dry storage for many years. The motor runs good, but from sitting, the gas tank will need to be cleaned out. I have had it running on an auxiliary gas can. Also, the carburetor will need to be rebuilt. In general, it will need a thorough safety check before taking it out on the highway. It is complete, with the only thing missing would be the air cleaner. It comes with a car cover. It also has really nice chrome mirrors that sit on top of the sidemounts. These are not shown in the pictures. It has a clear Wisconsin title in my name. The title shows that the car is a 1986 when the builder passed and the title was part of his estate that was transferred to his wife. His wife told me that over $40,000 was spent on building this car. I plan on selling this car to the high bidder at the end of the auction. I am starting it at $100.00, and there is no reserve. I am also putting a "Buy It Now" price, but whatever the price is at the end of the auction, that is what it will sell for.
