Vehicle Detail
This is a cool little enduro that would be a lot of fun bombing around the trails here in Wisconsin. This bike is in pretty good shape for its age, but could use a little work to make it perfect: High-res pictures here: 1981 Suzuki TS250 The Good Looks pretty decent and it's pretty much all thereStarts quickly even with a dead battery and runs out nicely Idles pretty decentHeadlight works The BadNone of the rest of the lights seem to work. Haven't looked too much into it. No title. Didn't have one when I got it. It's been a trails-only bike for a while.Plastics are all there, but the side covers are just set on in the pics. The mounts are good, but you'll need a couple of bolts to hold them on -- or just run without. Needs an air filter -- to verify it runs and drives, I fashioned a crude filter out of a rag. It works, but I wouldn't recommend it for prolonged use =) That's pretty much all there is to it. Kick it over and it runs, so long as it's got an air cleaner on it, it idles and runs out pretty nicely. It happily hauls me around and I'm 6'5, 300lbs. As always, I want my bidders to be happy, so if you would like to come check out the bike before placing a bid, please let me know and we'll set something up. I can deliver the bike within an hour or so of 53118 for $1 per loaded mile.On Nov-25-11 at 07:54:27 PST, seller added the following information: Just remembered one more detail -- the ignition has been punched so it'll work with any key or even a screwdriver. Honestly, I just leave it "on" because it starts and runs fine with a dead battery and I've only ridden it offroad on private property. That said, the ignition does technically work. Sorry for the late update and thanks for your interest!
