Hello, This is a fully restored 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Coupe. This car was built in 2009 by Will’s General Auto Repair in Tucson. This two owner car with 79,000 original miles was restored "frame on". We have the build sheet. The vehicle has never been out of Arizona, so there was no rust. The car was originally gold and was repainted in red. Door jams, floor, trunk were painted as well. The engine bay has been painted and detailed. 442 badging and trim was installed just for fun, all of the original badging is available and will come with the car. The front and rear bumpers have a few minor blems, but still show very well. Weather strip and window seals have been replaced. Engine and / Transmission: The Olds 350 engine has about 500 miles since being rebuilt. The engine did not require boring or crank grinding so all of the bearing and rings are standard size. The camshaft was replaced with a 232 degree duration, RV style cam. The cylinder heads were given a 3 degree valve job. The 2barrel manifold was replaced with an Edlebrock Performer, ant the carb was replaced with a matching Edlebrock 4 barrel with an electric choke. A set of Headman long tube headers was also installed. A new H.E.I. ignition was installed. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the engine. The Trans was built at All Trans in Phoenix. The valve body was modified to slightly firm shifts and a 2200 rpm torque converter was installed. Interior: The original seats have been restored. The seats have new coverings and piping. The floor has been sealed and painted and new carpeting installed. The dash was replaced and gauges were repaired. A Pillar covers were painted. The package tray has been replaced. Front windshield has been replaced. The door panels were recovered to match the seats and dash. The AM radio works, but will need new speakers. The air conditioning works well. Chassis: The front end was rebuilt during the restoration. New bushings and 4 new shocks. The rear springs have been changed to allow more tire clearance. The differential is an open 3.07, 10 bolt that has been serviced. The fuel tank and sending unit have been replaced. A summit racing dual exhaust system has also been installed. The 4 wheel drum brakes were relined and a new master cylinder was installed.
