Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on one of a kind Fiat Abarth 1300 vintage racer. This Fiat was developed and raced in Oregon and Chicago four times. Complete restoration in 1995, toured in Chicago Historics and stored. Ready to race again, or show, also street legal once you attach a pair of wipers. 1971 Fiat 850 roadster basic body, fuel cell, custom fairing, electric fuel pump, front radiator with electric fan, removable hood with latch pins. Custom fiberglass engine compartment lid with air scoop. Full roll cage, swing out door cage, custom seat. 6 point racing harness with twist lock release. Custom dashboard and working gauges, controls and large tachometer. Electric kill switch, Abarth steering wheel and shifter, fire extinguisher. Like new bodywork/paint over 200 hours of work, all welded, no filler. Plexiglass 5 inch custom windscreen. Allard brake lights. Fiat 124 1197cc engine modified to 1300cc. Engine reverse rotation. Abarth pistons, crank and cam. Lightened and balanced flywheel. Twin dual side-draft 40mm Makuni carbs. Custom exhaust manifold and muffler system (sounds awesome). Reinforced engine and transmission mounts. Abarth bell housing, rare Scaglia starter motor. High performance ignition wires. Transmission - conventional 4 speed manual. Suspension - full Abarth mods, lowered front springs, special rear Abarth springs, Abarth lowering blocks, adjustable Koni shocks all four. Wheels - Magnesium, in perfect shape with brand new four Sumitomo tires. Exterior paint - Ferrari Red, interior zeolited. Vehicle starts and runs great, transmission shifts fine, no fluid leaks of any kind. Recent oil change and new brake fluid. There are some minor chips in paint, but no dents, can be fixed with tuch-up paint. Vehicle is currently registered and I have the free and clear California title on me. Almost forgot to mention there is no rust. All components work fine. Feel free to ask questions, my reserve is very low, however please don't ask about my reserve since it is not a fair practice to other bidders. If you are interested in this car email me your best offer. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
