This vehicle is in good+ condition. In short, everything in the car works properly with exception of the driver's side seat heater which gets too hot if turned on. I am the original owner, it was purchased locally at North Point Volkswagen, and have always had the vehicle serviced as recommended in the manual with all work exclusively performed by the Volkswagen Dealer. Within the past year, the dealer installed a new timing belt, new rear brake pads, and replaced the battery. It also has Michelin Primacy tires with approximately 50-60% life left. I have a complete file for the vehicle outlining the service work. The car has also been garaged its entire life. The car gets approximately 44 MPG on the highway and has a cruising range of approximately 650 miles. I am selling the car because I bought a new Volkswagen. The car was involved in one accident in 2008 where the car was rear-ended. The damage was $2400, the repair job was excellent, and was performed by a USAA-Approved collision repair center. There were no long-term negative effects of the collision. The only obvious damage to the car now that I would not consider normal wear is the scraping damage to the front, driver-side alloy wheel (see photo).
