This is one of the nicest Chrysler Air Streams you will ever find. It was owned by a family in Ohio for 28 years. I purchased it five years ago. You will not be disappointed in this car. The pictures do not do this car justice! The previous owner said the car had been completely restored. The body and paint are nearly perfect. The body is laser straight. The interior was completely re-done and looks fabulous. The doors shut perfectly and the glass is excellent. It has a banjo steering wheel and the guages are in excellent condition. The engine and transmission were rebuilt and are in excellent condition. The generator was professionally rebuilt three years ago and it has a newer battery. The tires are in excellent condition and are not dry rotted. The brakes work fine. The car appears to be completely original (i.e. it has not been modified in any way that I am aware of.) It is still has the 6 volt electrical system. The undercarriage was completely sealed with a rubberized undercoating. I do not believe this car has ever had any rust. I have never found any indication of rust or filler since I have owned it. The car has a couple of extremely minor flaws. One of the rear bumper guards needs to be re-chromed but you wouldn't notice it unless you are looking very closely. The paint has a small run around one of the rear windows but it is barely noticable. The hub caps are in good condition but not show condition. The title was signed (but not dated) by the previous owner and I have not transferred it into my name. If this is a problem, you need to contact me before you bid. Summersville West Virginia is an easy drive on Interstate and Four Lane Highways. The car is located 1/2 mile from the Four Lane and I would be happy to meet you at the local Wal Mart if you choose.
