Up for auction is this AWESOME 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine. It has a automatic transmission. 207k miles. This truck runs and drives great. It is a one owner truck, used by the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation. It was state owned and state maintained, meaning all service was done regularly on it(because the person who drove it around didn't have to pay for the maintenance lol). A/C blows ICE COLD. It is more of a work truck model, with roll up windows and locks. The interior is above average for the year, drivers seat has a couple tears, rest of seats are good. Back seat almost looks unused. Dash only has a couple cracks, which is way better than most that have big chunks missing. The rubber floor can be washed out and cleaned which is nice. The exterior of the truck is good, but typical of a work truck. It has NO RUST, and no major damage. There is a dent on the back bumper as you can see. The rest is just basic dings and scratches. The paint is not faded. It is a quad cab, meaning the back doors do open. The truck has a bedliner and tow package as well. Tires are like new in front, and very good in back with probably 60-70% tread remaining. The windshield has a long crack, mainly on the passenger side. Like i said a great running driving work truck with cold a/c and great tires. ready to roll. You will not find a better truck for the money, these older 24 valve cummins are very desirable because they get such great fuel mileage(over 20 mpg). I am listing this truck with NO RESERVE!! Bid to win because if it ends at $5000 or $12500 the high bidder takes it home. This truck has TONS of life left in it, 207k is nothing on a cummins diesel engine.
