These are not stock photos, they are of the actual vehicle being sold. For sale is a rare 2001 Ford Excursion Limited with the 7.3 liter Powerstroke diesel engine. It’s two wheel drivetrain is maximized for efficiency, regularly resulting in 15+ miles per gallon in town and 20+ miles per gallon on the highway. The tires are matching stock size Michelin LTX M/S with about 75% tread remaining. While it is in very good condition, it is a 10 year old vehicle with a few scratches and bumps. However, overall, it is in VERY good condition with no rips or tears in the upholstery and no real body damage. Additionally, this was a Texas truck until July 2010, so there is absolutely no rust on this vehicle. Also, this vehicle is a daily driver, so the mileage may change accordingly. While the mileage on this vehicle may be a bit high, it has been maintained and used in a responsible way. It starts easily in the winter and once warm (as with all diesels) it runs down the road superbly. The engine does not smoke unless you want it to – by pressing the “go” button enthusiastically. The transmission works as it should with a nice, firm shift due to the power programmer. It holds in overdrive as it should. Additionally, the vehicle is outfitted with a Class IV tow hitch (up to 12,000 lbs towing capacity).
