Up for sale is my 1998 Audi A6 sedan just in time for some winter fun with its very capable all-wheel drive system. I've owned this car from new and have performed all required maintenance, and more, over the last 13 years. I'm a consummate "car guy" and provide all my own maintenance for my cars. A complete file about 2 inches thick is available with all receipts and work performed over the years. Oil changes performed at regular intervals (around 7,500 miles) with high quality synthetic oil and OEM oil filters. Some of the most significant maintenance and repairs recently performed:Timing belt, idler roller, tensioner, valve cover seals, water pump, electric radiator fan, fuel filter replaced: Aug 2008 at 167,998 miles. This is a critical and expensive service. The headlights are European spec without the orange reflector and with a "city light" in the main reflector as used in Europe. The tires have quite a bit of tread left as seen in the photos. Engine has been fed regular doses of Lubro-Moly valve and injection cleaner over the years. It runs very well and starts readily. The exhaust system was recently serviced by installing a new flex joint. It does have a slight "puff-puff" sound to it that can be heard on the video but it's not very loud. It might indicate the need for future exhaust work. Factory floor mats for front and rear are included but are not seen in photos, only the rears in trunk photo. Also included are winter rubber mats for front. I have highlighted the areas of the car that are not quite perfect in the photos. The paint is in amazingly good condition for its age.
