Vehicle Detail
This is a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham. I bought this car last year with the intentions of turning it into a drag race car. Since then I have found another vehicle to build instead, so this one is now for sale. I have a clear title IN MY NAME, and in my hand. I have driven the car around the neighborhood a few times and it runs good; but I never tagged it so I have not driven it out on the highway. Here is some information about the vehicle: General Specs: -Heat/AC/Defrost -Power Windows (fast) -Power Locks -Tilt Column -AM/FM cassette radio -14 inch Ralley wheelsNew: -New Battery -New Heater Core -New Heater Hoses -New Radiator -New Front Brake Pads -New Driver's Side Motor Mount Good: -Fastest G-Body Power windows I have ever seen! (They are usually dead slow, but not these.) -K&N air filter -3 extra oil filters -Extra transmission/crossmember mount -Extra air filter housing -Flowmaster muffler Not Good: -Dashboard is cracked (like they all do from this age) -Around the gauge cluster area the dash is missing clips? and is loose. -Speedometer doesn't work -Needs tires if going to be daily driven -Could use a carburetor tuneup. -Headliner -No speakers (Wires still there, just have to install new ones) -Small oil leak (looks like valve cover) Since this is a 1985; in Maryland this car would be considered historic. This would mean that in the state of Maryland you could tag it as "HISTORIC" and not have any inspection or emissions!!!! This would be a great candidate for: a driver, with a little work and TLC, or drag car, low rider, etc, etc. The paint is approx 3 years old. The hood is showing some wear, but the rest if the paint is great! There are a few dents on the hood, driver door, and rear bumper; but nothing too bad. The car is practically rust free. The only rust is on the bottom edge of the door, which you can see in the picture. Quarters, floors, and rockers are in great shape. The way you see the car is pretty much the way I purchased it a year ago (except the "NEW" stuff I added). Please, feel free to ask any questions, and I will answer them the best I can. Thanks, gmchevolds
