Selling my hard to find Vanagon Camper.This is a very clean and well cared for Vanagon.It had seat covers and tinted glass all of its life.I saved it from the grave yard. It had an electrical fire in the dash. So I bought a donor van and replaced the damaged parts : dash, harness,and gauges .In doing so I had to title the camper as the 1987 donor.The fire damaged camper was a 1988. Vanagon GL vin# wv2zb0256jh054871. I have seen Vanagons this nice bring in the high teens and more, but do not have to explain this to most of you ! Camper has no rust and is very nice over all. Interior is excellent, NO cuts, No tears, No dirt. I replaced some normal wear items that I got from Go Westy.The pop top seals, the sky light vent,the hatch struts and curtain gliders and hooks. The only things that I know the Camper need are as follows: the passenger window is inop, needs a motor. The windshield has a stone chip and a small hairline crack, this i could have this replaced before pickup. The AC blew cold when I bought the van 4 years ago but did not the last time I drove it this summer.The compressor is not kicking in so the coolant most be low, but it may be something else.This is the BEST everyday driver Vanagon Camper you will find for this kind of money. May consider trade on 2000 to 2004 Class C motorhome. Will be going to Fla. in the Nov or Dec. and may be able to deliver for fuel. Any questions at all, please call me.The camper is in NC.
