You are bidding on a beautifully restored 1960 MGA Coupe. This car was originally built by a well known SCCA vintage racer. The car has very few miles since the frame off restoration was completed in 2008. The car has an rebuilt 1800cc engine, factory front disk brakes, an MGB rear axle, and a very good condition red interior. The Panasports wheels and tires have the perfect size and offset and look very good on this car. I was planning on driving this as a personal vehicle, but decided to go with something different. The rebuilt engine has been upgraded with a flowed head, big valves, performance cam, Weber carbs, electronic ignition, oil cooler, and ceramic coated headers. The engine also has a rare counterbalanced forged steel crank and cold air intake filter. The engine was also outfitted with a torque starter and new alternator. The car has a front anti-roll bar installed and the front alignment is cambered slightly negative to reduce understeer. The electrical system has been converted to a single 12V battery which allowed space to install the exhaust pipe over the rear axle reducing scraping (a common issue) while driving the vehicle. The wiring harness, fuse and terminal block are beneath the dash and the firewall has been covered by an aluminum veneer. The car is in great condition. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
