The car was stored in an indoor heated garage during the winters. The color is "Liquid Silver" (I think the best Celica color) with gray cloth interior and 5-speed manual transmission. During most of my ownership, my commute to work was only a few miles, thus it has less than 56,000 original miles! Toyota stopped selling Celicas in the U.S. after 2005, so it's rare to find one with ULTRA LOW miles like this one. I recently took a new job 20 miles from home, and the car has been giving me about 29 miles per gallon on the highway! What's also notable about the car is the ULTRA RARE combination of no rear spoiler or rear wiper. This really gives it a super clean, sleek look and accentuates the Celica's great design. When I first brought the car to the dealer for service, the mechanics were amazed because they said they'd never seen one like this! In fact, in all the years I've owned it, I've encountered only two others with no rear spoiler or wiper! Standard equipment include AC, power steering, automatic headlights, AM/FM/cassette/cd radio, dual airbags. Some tasteful modifications have been made by the previous owner and myself. The original 15" wheels were replaced with 17" Konig Rush alloys. One-inch lowering springs were installed to give it a great stance and even better handling. To improve performance, the stock air intake was replaced with an AEM cold air intake and the rear exhaust section (from the muffler to the exhaust tip) was replaced with a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Turbo rear exhaust section. I have never had the car dyno-tested, but the manufacturers estimate these two modifications should increase the horsepower from the stock 140 to about 160. They also give the car a great growl! A short-throw shifter kit was installed to make shifting faster. I replaced the stock tail lights with TYC Reds. Stock amber corner light lenses were replaced with clear ones and front headlight bulbs were replaced with blue Xenon-filled bulbs that give them the powerful HID-look. The stock antenna was replaced with a "shorty" and the badges were removed from the trunk lid. A deep window tint was applied and a car alarm was installed. I added a subtle "flaming TRD" decal in front of the rear wheels on each side to give the car a hint of color and let people know this isn't your average, run of the mill Celica! I will also include the original intake components and tail lights. Keep in mind that while this car is very clean, it has some minor bumps and bruises that come with being a daily driver. The wheels and front air dam show slight curb rash (the close-up photo shows the worst wheel). There are a couple of minor dings and scratches here and there, and a small dent behind the right front wheel (not too noticeable). One of the seams on the back seat has opened up, but it's not ripped and should be easy to stitch closed. The car has manual windows and locks. Also, although eBay lists a sunroof as standard equipment and doesn't let me remove it from the listing, a sunroof was an optional on Celicas, and this car does not have one. I've had a blast owning this car! I've often received compliments, even from strangers in parking lots. I'm going to really miss this car, but feel it's time to pass it on to the next owner to enjoy! On Nov-06-11 at 19:10:02 PST, seller added the following information: A few updates: The tires are Kumho Ecsta 711 high performance summer tires. Rear tires are good, front tires were recently replaced and are nearly new. I have a spare Konig wheel & matching Kumho tire, both used with minor curb rash, that I will include with the car.
