If you have, you know that even if you started with a free car with no rust it would cost you $20,000.00 to do to it what this show winner has had done to it. It was built by, in my opinion, one of the best builders in this area right here in Idaho. I sold a Buick show car for him that he built several years ago and the new owner was overjoyed at the Qaulity of this guy's work in building that car. He started out with a 1957 VW Beetle and hand built this car over the past five years and has only driven the car 41 miles since. There is not a single nut or bolt that wasn't replaced or repaired and everything was redone or replaced. All of the body panels and pan were bead blasted and painted and there is NO RUST !! WOW, this is a beauty !!! The car has had extensive modifications including suicide doors with shaved door handles and electric door poppers with key fob and power windows, filled quarter windows, 1973 Super Beetle front roof section / visor fabricated onto original roof, smoothed fenders, custom fabricated prototype dual orbital exterior mirrors and mounts, smoothed and custom fabricated running boards, fabricated interior dash from original, rear seat removed and rear area customized, custom fabricated hood with custom hood latch release mounted on dash, custom fabricated deck lid, dual tinted windshield, tinted door windows, tinted Vintage Rider rear window and on and on...! The paint on this car is a STUNNING - PROFESSIONAL - QUALITY JOB done in color shifting Emerald and it is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL for sure !! I just can't say enough about what a great job was done on this car. It drives down the road straight and handles like a sports car. The headlight's are 24K gold plated vintage Rossi headlights with the front turn signals mounted inside the headlight rings, dual driving lights up front, dual vintage Snowflake tailights, custom fabricated backup light and three rear mounted cameras with moniters in the interior where the rear view mirror used to be !! The attention to detail on this ONE OF A KIND VW Beetle is FANTASTIC. THIS IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE !! The wiring was also redone when the car was built. It has a nicely redone steering column with a 24K gold plated steering column support, beautiful hand crafted one of a kind Skull steering wheel, Pioneer digital AM/FM stereo radio with CD player - WMA - MP3 with detachable face and 6" speakers mounted in the front kick panels and a digital Dehni fuel gage. This is better than a new car, nobody built a Volkswagon Beetle this nice in 1957 !! The front trunk area is nicely trimmed out in Gray cloth / carpet and the gas tank has been painted with the same Emerald paint used on the exterior. The owner / builder took this car to the Boise Roadster show and you can't believe the attention it draws !! It won first place and the Street Achievement award to boot !! As you can see in one of the pictures below it comes with a judges book put together by the builder / owner. The engine compartment is nicely detailed out in impressive Gold color. The motor is matched up with a smooth - Re-built - custom transaxle with 4.375 ring and pinion. This car is such a fun driver to say the least !!! I drove this BEAUTY for a couple of miles and I have to tell you it was a joy to drive. It drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes. Another thing that was really nice about this car is how comfortable and easy to drive it was. I am 6'2" tall and had plenty of leg room and it was easy to get in and out of. This vehicle is in FANTASTIC condition from top to bottom and from front to back. Have you been looking to build a one of a kind Custom Volkswagon Beetle Show Car ? If you have, you know that even if you started with a free car with no rust it would cost you $20,000.00 to do to it what this show winner has had done to it. It was built by, in my opinion, one of the best builders in this area right here in Idaho. I sold a Buick show car for him that he built several years ago and the new owner was overjoyed at the Qaulity of this guy's work in building that car. He started out with a 1957 VW Beetle and hand built this car over the past five years and has only driven the car 41 miles since. There is not a single nut or bolt that wasn't replaced or repaired and everything was redone or replaced. All of the body panels and pan were bead blasted and painted and there is NO RUST !! The car has had extensive modifications including suicide doors with shaved door handles and electric door poppers with key fob and power windows, filled quarter windows, 1973 Super Beetle front roof section / visor fabricated onto original roof, smoothed fenders, custom fabricated prototype dual orbital exterior mirrors and mounts, smoothed and custom fabricated running boards, fabricated interior dash from original, rear seat removed and rear area customized, custom fabricated hood with custom hood latch release mounted on dash, custom fabricated deck lid, dual tinted windshield, tinted door windows, tinted Vintage Rider rear window and on and on...! The paint on this car is a STUNNING - PROFESSIONAL - QUALITY JOB done in color shifting Emerald and it is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL for sure !! I just can't say enough about what a great job was done on this car. It drives down the road straight and handles like a sports car.
The headlight's are 24K gold plated vintage Rossi headlights with the front turn signals mounted inside the headlight rings, dual driving lights up front, dual vintage Snowflake tailights, custom fabricated backup light and three rear mounted cameras with moniters in the interior where the rear view mirror used to be !! The attention to detail on this ONE OF A KIND VW Beetle is FANTASTIC. THIS IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE !! The wiring was also redone when the car was built. It has a nicely redone steering column with a 24K gold plated steering column support, beautiful hand crafted one of a kind Skull steering wheel, Pioneer digital AM/FM stereo radio with CD player - WMA - MP3 with detachable face and 6" speakers mounted in the front kick panels and a digital Dehni fuel gage. This is better than a new car, nobody built a Volkswagon Beetle this nice in 1957 !! The front trunk area is nicely trimmed out in Gray cloth / carpet and the gas tank has been painted with the same Emerald paint used on the exterior. This Volkswagon has a completley rebuilt - vintage - 36HP motor that has dual Rethwish manifolds, dual 28PCI carbs, custom velocity stacks and a Okrasa cam and it runs GREAT !! The engine compartment is nicely detailed out in impressive Gold color. The motor is matched up with a smooth - Re-built - custom transaxle with 4.375 ring and pinion. This car is such a fun driver to say the least !!! I drove this BEAUTY for a couple of miles and I have to tell you it was a joy to drive. It drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes. Another thing that was really nice about this car is how comfortable and easy to drive it was.
