Please read entire description 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door, all original (gas tank replaced). I am listing this car for a friend, as she has liquidated her parent's estate. 24 pics taken without camera flash, state more than I could describe in words. Some under-hood pics taken with flash. The original owner of the car was her grandfather, who then sold the car to her father, last driven approximately 33 years ago, garaged for 18 years, then parked under an open-air shed roof for the last 15 years, then moved this week, due to house being sold and new owner wanting it moved immediately. It is now outside without any covering. This is a re-listing for 3 days only. New pics taken from better angles with consistent lighting. My friend relates that she knows the gas tank has been replaced at an unknown time in the past, otherwise, all original everything. All doors open properly / shut tightly. Hood opens properly, shuts tightly. Trunk will not close properly, (see rope in pic). Windows roll down properly (only tried about 25% down), roll up properly. All original upholstery. Key (not original) will turn, no battery. 4 different types of hubcaps, please note pic of the different styles. Front windshield exhibits a crack that is not easy to photograph accurately, no other cracks in other glass. I have ripped out the carpeting and padding to expose the metal in trunk, front, and back flooring. There is rust thru at bottom of spare wheel well, other areas exhibit surface rust only. I scraped all areas, banged on areas with tire iron, then swept for the pics. NC DMV clear car title to be signed over / transferred at transaction. Unable to get under the car for any pics. Unknown if anything else is broken or missing, the car is all original, a restorer's dream start-up. $1000 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auction close, balance on pick-up. I have tried to present this car in a completely honest manner with full disclosure, any mistakes / omissions are by accident.
