Thanks for looking at our auction - this is my personal car . . .I will start off by saying is that I looked for a nice BMW convertible for a YEAR before I bought this one . . .I wanted a clean, one owner PRIVATELY owned BMW Convertible 325CI (not some auction junker and not on some dealer lot) . . .I finally found EXACTLY what I wanted, when I arrived at the owners house (beautiful waterfront estate). . . the car was covered with a car cover in a four car garage . . . . . this is a ONE OWNER (I have only owned it for a few months so technically im the 2nd owner) . . .it was owned by a retired attorney from Westport,CT . . .FULLY dealer serviced (I have folder full of BMW dealer invoices) and always garaged in Florida . .they split their time between CT and FL . . the BMW stayed in Florida . . . so then you ask the question. . . "if it's so great why are you selling it ?" . . .the reason: I need a bigger vehicle . . . . I have an antiques business and the car just does not lend itself to someone in the business of picking up and moving things . . . .so. . .off it goes. . . . This 2002 BMW 325CI Convertible is fantastic . . .navy blue with blue top and tan leather interior (which still SMELLS like leather) . . . with average miles of just under 134k (about average miles) and the miles are ALL HIGHWAY. . .(back and forth to Florida) . . .as stated before it was purchased from retired attorney from Westport,CT . . . the car was owned driven ONLY his wife (and then by me, I have only put a few thousand miles on it). . . the previous owner told me he would spend 10-15 minutes circling parking lots to wait for / find a shady spot to park it. . . . .the body and interior are in great condition . . . take a GOOD look at the drivers side carpet / mat. . .that clearly speaks as to the condition of this car. . .this is a beautiful BMW cabriolet . . . . .it features a in-line 6-cylinder engine (2.5L), automatic transmission - power convertible top (works perfectly) I drove it through the car wash (just to test it for watertightness) not a SINGLE drop of water. . .amazing. . . also features a/c - p/w - p/s - p/b - p/locks - p/seat - cruise - heated seats - am/fm/cd - steering wheel controls - CAR IS ALL STOCK. . . anti lock brakes (brakes are excellent) - multiple airbags . . . . . .nice original BMW five spoke alloys (all center caps are present - all in great shape) tires all match and are in GREAT SHAPE . . .this car has NO RUST, it was detailed twice a year. . . .it runs and drives great. . .VERY fast and handles like a typical BMW. . . it is 100% dead STOCK. . .it retains it's original paint and was always garaged, interior LOOKS GREAT . .showing only minor wear and minor flaws, dashboard is in excellent condition. . .no sagging of headliner (on inside of convertible top) convertible top in EXCELLENT condition. . with GLASS REAR WINDOW. . not that plastic that gets all gray and cloudy. . . front headlamp lenses CRYSTAL CLEAR (these also get all gray and cloudy) . . .it was NEVER SMOKED IN (lighter and ashtray unused) . . .OVERALL VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT CONDITION . . . .I always receive compliments on this car. . . people think it's much newer than a 2002 other than a few VERY VERY minor dings, bumps and scrapes the body is REALLY nice. . .NO rust on the body . . . front air dam has a crack and some other minor flaws but OVERALL looks great . . . . .you can see from the photos the paint is VERY shiny and is VERY nice. . . door panels and jambs are all in EXCELLENT condition . . . it also has the original BMW owners manuals and paperwork, and radio code cards (these can be a pain to get if you lose them) it has two factory BMW "remote keys" as well as the valet key - the engine starts quickly and runs smoothly and at the right temperature and appears to have no leaks and it runs with no smoke or engine noises, it has typical minor bumps,scrapes & dings you would find with any 9 year old car . . .while leafing through the service records I found a receipt for a BRAND NEW rebuilt transmission (done this year) . . .I asked the owner about this and he said "my wife noticed a few drops of fluid on the garage floor and took it to have it looked at". . . over $4,000 later it has a new rebuilt transmission (my guess is it probably didn't need it). . . .this 2002 BMW 325CI starts at just $3850 and sold NO RESERVE. car sold with State of Connecticut title and bill of sale (which we have in hand) - OVERALL this is a great car . . . . .book value (depending where you look is upwards of $12,000+). . . . these are getting harder and harder to find in this condition . . . .THANKS. . .YOU WILL LOVE THIS CAR A 400 dollar deposit is with 24 hours of the end of the acution.
