This Impala has only 72,000 miles and is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. This car has the orginal 350ci motor and has been converted to a 4-speed transmission. The conversion was done right; including switching steering column to 4-speed, column with tilt, wood steering wheel, and the back up lights even work. The exterior was striped to bare metal and repainted it's orginal gold color. A new vinyl top has been included as a part of the Impala's restoration. Photos, as well as receipts, of the restoration process from bare metal to the finished shiny look you'll see below have been documented. These, as well as the original 1970 Impala owner's manual come included with the car. This Chevy comes with the orginal interior from 1970 with the addition of new carpet throughout. The 40 year old interior is in good condition, but the rear seats do have minimal sun deterioration and the driver's seat has a few minor tears (see photos below). The chrome is the same as the interior, nice but not perfect; you really have to look close to notice any flaws. I personally would not replace either, but it depends on how "fussy" you are. The engine and trunk compartments are clean and detailed. The trunk is complete with the spare jack, tools, trunk mat, and spare tire.
