HTML Online Editor Sample HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO OWN AN ORIGINAL 1950's KUSTOM!! This is a 1956 Ford F100 Shortbox. I'm only selling this one due to health reasons, otherwise it wouldn't be going anywhere! This is a project truck, but overall it's very solid with a lot of custom history. This was first customized in Englewood Colorado, and drove the streets of Colorado most of it's life, but it has also seen time in Southern California, as well as Las Vegas. Over the years the truck has recieved two major overhauls. One in 1959, and the other in the late 60's, with minor changes being made over the years. There is some bondo cracking but overall the original bodywork has held up very well, with minimal rust, and minor dents in the overall body. The work was done right and has stood the test of time. Front end was heavily modified in the late 60's to accept the Chrysler grill surround, and headlights. Rear end is a custom tailgate with rolled pan and tunneled buckets for 1959 Cadillac tailights, which will go with it. This truck wore a white tonneau cover for years and the buttons to install another are still intact .Also the bed has been drilled for 1950's "bellyhugger" pipes, as this was the only exhaust the truck ever had. Floors are still in great condition, and even the original pinstriping has survived. Truck was candy red for years before spending a majority of years in the Vegas desert. Luckily it helped to keep it from rusting, but did dry it out. Rear wood stake bed is rotted, and would need replaced. Truck gets its stance from the rear end being on top of the spring pack as opposed to underneath, and a gibbons torsion bar front end that has been cranked down as well. Whitewalls have never seen road time and still have the tags on them. Hubcaps the same but the fronts do not fit very well as the front wheels are wagon wheels and not original truck wheels. If you want to run these caps, these two wheels would have to be changed, or caps would have to be modified. Please note this is being sold with no engine and transmission, and it does not run or drive. There is an engine sitting in the truck now weighing it down in the pictures, but there will not be one sold with it as its getting pulled as we speak. Truck ran a Red Ram Hemi engine since 1959, but is being sold with universal motor mounts for whatever you would want to run now. Steering box is a Chrysler power steering unit, and a makeshift column has been set up for temporary steering. Rear end is stock with original brakes, but front end has been converted to disc in later years. Currently there is no master cylider installed, so there are NO BRAKES. Outside of a windshield this will also be sold with all new light tinted glass, including new rear window rubber. A bed and cab full of parts will go with this truck to help the build, including a new tilt column, and master cylinder. For transit the truck steers and pushed easily, and tires again are new so they do hold air just fine . As well the title is clean, clear, and current in Colorado. We've done a lot of research to try and find the original history of this truck, and in doing so were blessed with photos that were taken after the first major overhaul in 1959 (attached). We don't know all of the history on this truck quite yet, but we do know it has a lot of custom background, and it looks killer in any decade. This thing has style coming out of its ears, and I've often caught myself losing track of time just staring at it. This is a difficult one to let go of, but the hope is that someone will finish it again, and appreciate what they are buying. Tried my best to describe everything as accurately and detailed as possible, but if you have any more questions please feel free to ask. SELLING WITH NO RESERVE AND A LOW STARTING BID SO HIGH BID GETS IT! $500 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END, WITH REMAINDER TO BE PAID IN FULL BY 7 DAYS FROM AUCTION END. TRUCK CAN BE STORED FOR 2 WEEKS AFTER BIDDING ENDS, BUT NO LONGER UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY. SOLD AS IS. BUYER ARRANGES AND PAYS FOR ALL TRANSIT COSTS. THANKYOU AND GOOD LUCK!
