1970 Trans Am 1970 Trans Am: PHS documented orig Lucerne blue, ram air III 4 speed w/ac. car is apart but comes with a non original, non matching YZ coded 400 long block w/correct 12 heads (I figured I could have it restamped if I used it), correct intake and exhaust manifolds, correct Muncie 4 speed w/correct vin number stamped on it, 12 bolt 3.31 posi w/rear sway bar and correct 70 only front bar, seats have been recovered, nice original uncut dash, restored tach cluster, Randy Combs restored dash face, new carpet, nice int plastics, rechromed bumper and taillights. correct short spoiler caps, new lock set, new rear emblems, correct 70 drip rails and w/s retainers, PPG Lucerne blue base purchased. sold new in California, super solid rust free mostly complete project car, nice original floors and quarters, still has nice rust free orig correct fenders, correct functional shaker, correct 70 hood, ect. I also do have most all the ac parts to go with it. Body was media blasted and primed, rough bodywork done, ready for final block sanding and paint. has all spoilers, nice rear panel, nice nose, grills, correct core support and valance, correct 70 engine brackets and pulleys, correct 70 trim, rebuilt front suspension, new subframe bushings, new brake line kit, and comes with a rough 70 firebird parts car with ps, pb and ac. I have posted lots of pictures of the car as it was being worked on over the past few years, this is a great project car, it is currently loosely bolted together to ease in transporting it (above pics were taken yesterday). Overall most all the bodywork is done and the car looks good, but I am picky and its not ready to be painted yet, my opinion is it will still need to be final blocked, inspected and final panel fitted prior to painting. I have had this car for several years now and just don't think I will ever have the time to finish it, its just too far down on the list of projects. The orange (yah I know...) engine is not included in the sale, It is a fresh performance built 455 w/edelbrock heads that I planned on using in the car as a "fun" motor. I will sell it to the winning bidder for an additional $3500 if they are interested in it, It is only available to the winning bidder so please don't think I will sell it outright for that price. The 70 parts car is rough but still has quite a few usable 70 only parts on it, it has ps, pb, and ac stuff on it. winning bidder will have the option to take it, or remove what they want and leave the carcass. I do not have a correct carb for it, but can include a 68-70 Pontiac q-jet, no windshield, no gas tank, don't have a headliner (bows are in the car) no door panels, no radio, don't have the orig rally's and so I put on some american mags. and I am sure there are other parts missing as well. I have tried to get as many nice parts for this car and to make it complete for the last few years, and this is one of the most solid cars I have seen in years. Car did not originally have a console, but I like them so the car comes with one. I know, I know, the car originally came with blue interior, I like black interior so I changed it to black., Clear title in hand, email with any questions...this is a no reserve auction, so bid to win, car sold "as is".
