Up for sale is my 2003 Toyota Tundra SR5 extended cab. I know it has a lot of miles but the truck is 100% mechanicly sound and I have no problems with having this truck inspected by any dealership or mechanic. I am an insurance agent that lives in SW Florida and I work in FL,SC,GA,NC,AL,TN,KY,VA so 90% of the miles on this truck are highway miles. I am the second owner of this truck and bought it with about 20k miles. It has been dealer maintained since day one and i can provide all the documentation if needed. This truck has been maintained with an open checkbook and all required maintenance was completed by Toyota, timing belt etc. This truck has been essentially my office on wheels so it was maintained better than should be. Now the truck is paid for and I have a clear Fl title, there are however a few things that will probably show up on the carfax and I would like to explain. This truck has NEVER BEEN IN A COLLISION, the insurance claims were because of the following: During hurricane charlie shingles from my roof blew off and scratched the hood, roof, and passenger side window and door. The second claim was because of a hit and run, I was at a local boat ramp and while i was out on my jet-skis someone backed into it with I'm guessing a boat and caved a portion of the rear quarter panel. In both cases my local Cadillac dealer did all the work as they are my insurance companies preferred shop of choice and Im sure could provide detailed information as to the repairs made. All work done was cosmetic, no frame, supports etc have been damaged. So now that we have that out of the way let me give the pros and cons of the truck as detailed as possible. Pros: After market wheels and tires 18inch chrome with new tires with less than 3k miles All new brakes front and rear, rotors, drums, pads, shoes etc. 3inch front leveling kit AEM brute force cold air kit Air raid throttle body spacer Aftermarket Kenwood stereo with remote, cd player, sirius sat, and kenwood self powered sub touneu cover (fiberglass) Bed rug in the bed of the truck reese hitch with tow pkg fire and ice rear led brake light electric brake controller for towing tinted window both front and back matching (may not be legal in all states) power windows and locks and mirrors sliding rear window Bug deflector skid plate Aftermarket grill aftermarket gauge face chrome nerf bars hood scoop and im sure there is more I am forgetting! Now the cons: On the passenger side there is a crease running down the side where and old lady with Alzheimers sideswiped me while parked. I did not file a claim with the insurance company in fear of being dropped or rates being raised. Besides it isn't that noticeable. On the drivers side I was in a hurry and did a turn around and ran a stop sign down the side denting the nerf bar and breaking the vent shade on the rear window and putting a few dents in the rear door and scuffing the fender flare. Clearcoat peeling on bed cover The wheels are pitted and is noticeable up close but look good from a few feet away Keep in mind this is a 2003 and has alot of miles and has a few dents, chips and dings. In short the truck is in good shape with the exception of the above. It has been extremely well taken care of and I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere! I would leave right now for California or Alaska with no hesitation. The oil has been changed every 5k miles with Castrol GTX and after a 100k miles I always added a quart of lucas during the change. Again records to prove if need be. The interior is in very good shape, there is a small tear on the drivers side front from getting in and out of it. The carpet could use a good cleaning other than that its great. I have always kept it clean inside and out, I did not run off and clean it up just for the sale. The pictures are the way the truck has always stayed. Again I know there are alot of miles on this truck but it doesn't leak a drop of anything the Ac blows cold as ice and the heater will melt you, it doesn't smoke, burn oil, or rattle. It drives straight as an arrow and is very comfortable for long trips. I have the reserve to what i think is fair and have the truck listed here locally and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. The truck is located in Cape Coral, Florida and I will help in any way possible with pickup and or delivery.
