You are bidding on very clean 1982 Alfa Romeo GTV6. Many of us remember seeing it first in a James Bond movie Octopussy. The Balocco edition(named after the famous Balocco test track in Italy) is one of the most sought after model. This is number 51 out of 350 ever made! With its 2.5L v6 engine,bosch fuel injection system,torsion bar front suspension and rear mounted gearbox offers great weight distribution an almost perfect 50/50,great acceleration, great cornering and awesome stopping power thanks to the brembo brakes. It has brand new shocks all around. Firm and sporty ride. First owner was a couple up in northern california, and second owner was their Alfa mechanic. That being said this car is in incredible shape. Excessive maintanence records are available. The exterior is in superb shape. Car hasn't been in any accident, clean and straight body no rust at all. It was always garaged, the new good quality paint(emerald green metallic) shines really nice. All plastic trims, bumper pieces and molds have been reconditioned and are nice deep black, no faded plastic here. New seals all around, front and rear windshield. It has H4 european headlights. The engine is absolutly perfect with only 117k miles. No leaks of any kind. New soundproofing with Alfa logo installed on the hood. Its all original except the paint, headers, new starter, new alternator, plugs and wires and a racing alloy coolant reservoir. Radiator has been re-cored. Car runs cool, no overheating at all. New high flow catalytic converter was installed so it'll pass smog. ANSA exhaust system was added for a better airflow and an incredible sound, it sounds like a true italian car. In my opinion it sounds like a Lamborghini. Brakes were serviced recently, only 350 miles on the new brakes and fluid. The car comes with original 15" campagnolo wheels(a true rarity) with brand new tires installed last week with 50 miles on them. Wheels are perfect no rash, cracks or other imperfections. Has tuner lug nuts with wheel lock. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. Clutch was replaced 15k miles ago. Interior is truly amazing, dashboard is perfect like new, with all the vents . Nothing is broken, missing or even scratched. Deep dish Nardi steering wheel was installed 300 miles ago among with a black leather, red stiching MOMO shift knob. All instruments and gauges work as they should. Power mirrors, power windows. Alpine head mp3 unit with alpine speakers all around. Brand new carpeting(black) and new floormats with the alfa logo. The leather seats are in perfect original condition. A new headliner was also installed, black leather. Sunroof works perfectly. Nonsmoker car, cigarette lighter and ash tray still shiny like new. Centerconsole is in perfect shape. It comes with all the original tools, service records, owner manuals, keys, jack and campagnolo spare! Some extra parts are also included(see picture). Free and clear California title on my name and current registration until 08/2012.
