Vehicle Detail
The car came from Virginia and it is my understanding that it spent much of its life in the parking lot of an Air Force base. The mileage shows 83k; the title shows exempt. Based on the Carfax, the miles have rolled. The car still has the stock 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. The car has an electrical/coil problem and is barely running at the moment. It will start but I would guess that the engine is only running on 1or 2 cylinders. The transmission has a slow leak and the exhaust system needs to be replaced from the catalytic converter back. The body is straight and solid. The paint is original and the clear coat is thin or gone in places. The underside of the car is dry and clean; there is no evidence of any accidents. The interior is stock and is in great condition. All glass is clean and clear. Lights, signals, wipers, and blower motor all operate as they should. There is no radio in the car; the dash speakers (3.5 inch) have been upgraded. From front to back, the car has new headlights/marker lights, xenon bulbs, UPR billet caster/camber plates, front sway bar, SN-95 Cobra 14" rotors, 5-lug spindles, new brake pads, brake/clutch pedal assembly, 2" lower front springs, 1.5" lower rear springs, 8.8 rear end assembly including disc brakes (rear end ratio is in the low 3's), rear sway bar, torque-thrust style 17" mustang wheels with Kuhmo tires (70%). Long story short: I had planned to swap in a V8 and a 5 speed. The car no longer suits my needs and I would like to cut my losses and move on. Up until the electrical problem worsened, the car was a daily driver. It drives out straight and handles extremely well. I am happy to show the car. It can be jump-started to be pulled on to a trailer. There is a $500 deposit due via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction end. I will accept cash for the balance. The car should be picked up and balance paid within 7 days of the auction end. If you are shipping the car, the car will not move until the funds are in my account. Please note that I indicated "you" when referring to shipping; all arrangements are your responsibility. I am happy to assist where and when I can. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. If you aren't clear on something, please ask. Please do not bid unless you want to own the car. Thanks for looking and good luck!On Oct-30-11 at 10:16:20 PDT, seller added the following information: In answer to a few questions:The hard brake lines are the original ones that came with the 4-cylinder. I forgot to mention that the SN-95 spindles required the addition of a set of Steeda ball joints. In addition, the master cylinder and proportioning valve were upgraded to 93 Cobra replacements. Drop in your engine and tranny and enjoy!
