I purchased this van five years ago when it had only 21000 miles on it. I recently purchased a travel trailer and bought a larger vehicle to tow it so I have to let my Kia go. This has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. The mileage is mostly highway travel from New York to Florida. I put a new water pump in 4 months ago and had the timing chain replaced at the same time. The engine is perfect and the transmission shifts smoothly. AC blows cold. Other than brakes and new tires which were both done in the last year, I have never had any mechanical issue with the van. I did replace both power window motors last month, that seems to be a common Kia problem. The van has never been in an accident. The passengers side front bumper has minor damage from hitting a decorative rock while backing out of a driveway. There is a small dime sized indent in the drivers side door but no dents or rust anywhere else. On the interior there are no rips in the dash or seats but there are several cigarette burn marks on the drivers side door. The seats could use a good cleaning (muddy dog paws) as well as the front carpet but the floor mats cover most of the floor. There are no seats in the rear. I removed them and laid down new plywood and carpet. I built the bench in the rear so my dogs could look out the window but it can be easily removed. This would be a great delivery van (cakes, newspapers, auto parts?) and you will become very popular when friends move. I used it only for travel and to tote my dogs around. There is a Curt trailer hitch installed on the van. The towing limit is 3500 pounds so it will easily tow a small boat or pop-up camper. I am not including the trailer wiring or break controller as I am going to use them on my new SUV.
