Presented here is a very low mileage and correct example of one of Mercedes Benz finest cars. This 300e has lived a pampered life in the hands of its original owner a prominent Doctor in the SF Bay Area. Always kept in a garage and driven on his commute of 6 miles each way has lead to the excellent mileage of only 107,xxx from new!! Everything on this car as you would imagine is in excellent working order and the interior shows almost no wear. The front drivers seat is as if no one ever sat in it. The carper under the floor mats is perfect. The steering wheels is as it was new, not worn like they always are. The paint is almost all entirely perfect and has not suffered the terrible clear coat failure all over that so many of these have. Here are some improvements that have been done this week. - New exhaust manifold gaskets - Timing chain cover resealed. (a very common leak and expensive fix on these motors) - New window switch and regulator installed for rear passenger window - Transmission shift bushing - New Cap, Rotor, Wires and Plugs. Which are very expensive! Here are recent other notes of interest - California registration is paid current with 2012 tags - Current smog certificate - Clear and clean title - Newer Michelin Tires - All original service books and flyers as noted in pictures - Original stamped delivery plate! - Original Red Dot Keys - Original California Sunset Plates. Very correct to the 80's! The transmission on this car works perfectly. The engine has lots of power. One of the fastest 300e's that I have driven! The suspension is very tight with no squeaking at all. Now for some of the issues. - Small crack in the rear bumper on the drivers side. But these bumpers are cheap used and easy install if it bothers you. - Some light paint tarnish under the gas filler from some spillage. Other than that this car is very clean and very well sorted and serviced.. Not to mention one of the most complete cars around. Thank you for looking and please message me with any questions!!
