In San Diego up for NO RESERVE auction is a nice classic muscle car. 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Coupe with a 390 engine.If you are new to Ebay with 2 or less positive feedback, please email me with your phone number before you bid. Overall, the car is very solid and it runs smoothly. I have no idea about the mileage. Odometer shows 44776 but I have no idea if it has turned over. It's likely it has. Mileage is exempt per federal odometer law for vehicles over 10 years old. Mechanically, it runs beautifully. Engine starts easy and runs strong. Idles smoothly also. Transmission shifts well. I believe it's a 390 but please check with the engine phot as I'm not a classic expert.AC compressor has no belt on it. I did check and the Compressor pulley is not frozen, it turns freely with no binding noise or tension. Idler pulley is free also.Windshield has a crack and should be replaced.The body is great. The body panels are solid and tight. The hood lids close nicely. It's missing the chrome trim moulding at the front edge of the left fender.The frame is solid. There surface rust, desert-type rust, underneath and in the trunk, no hole. Interior overall is good. Upholstery is great and so is the carpet. Can use a new set of armrest and a window crank handle. Dash has cracks. Please look at the photos closely as they do a lot better job than my description. All 4 tires are good and had held air very well. The chrome has minor pitting at places. This vehicle is smog exempt in CA. Regarding title: I have no title on hand. I hold storage lien papers that we use when the title is lost and the donor is not available to help with the process anymore. CA will accept this lien papers as title for transfer purposes but other states would not.I'll sell this car with a bill of sale with no extra fee, you pay only the bid amount. I can actually get you a CA title but it would cost $600. Reason is that there's late fees on this car. Sorry about this situation. Title can be created in a lot of states not too difficultly.
