Vehicle Detail
Am selling my 1972 Chevy Nova 2 Dr Street Strip Car. Car is very solid a few minor imperfections but overall very solid and clean. Car was restored in the late 90's just prior to me purchasing it in 98'. Pearl White with custom graphics were painted at that time. Body is very solid with no rust holes or deterioration. A couple spots that have some surface rust where the paint got nicked but very very minor. I setup the car to drag race with minus tubbing the rear end, and installing the roll cage. I do have the weld up roll cage kit that goes with the car so can be installed by the new buyer if they chose to do so. Also have brand new never mounted M/T ET Drag slicks that come with the car as well. Powertrain is a SBC 355 CI approximately 625 hp. 4 bolt main cast block, Callies forged crankshaft, Eagle I-beam rods, Speedpro 13:1 Pistons, Crane solid lift cam and Crane Gold Roller Rockers 1:5 ratio. Canfield Aluminum heads 2.05 / 1.60 58 CC heart shaped combustion chamber. Polished High rise single plane intake ported to match the heads. Proform 750 cfm Holley race carb. HEI ignition with MSD module and Accel Super coil. Accel 300+ race wires. Freshly rebuilt TH350 turbo trans with Hughes full race rebuild kit, TCI hardened drums and transbrake. 12 bolt post 4:56 rear end currently B&M 3500 RPM stall convertor but have a brand new in the box Art Carr 9" 5500 RPM stall convertor that goes with the car as well. Less then 100 miles on engine and transmission since build. Track tuned with the slicks on was speculating 11.0 - 11.5 sec qtr mile car. Have not track tested or raced the car since together. Current state of the car is that it could be done either way could finish as a drag car and go racing or tame down the drive train and have a great street car. Black interior all in pretty good shape needs a headliner. Have most of the interior parts not installed due to racing but still have all the parts and go with the car. If anyone has any questions please let me know and will get back to you as quick as possible. Thank You and Happy Bidding!
