Trust me this BEAUTY looks big but its a ROCKET with its ground pounding - original "Z" code - Thunderbird BIG BLOCK - 390 motor that came from the factory with a four barrel carb, 315 HP and 10.5:1 compression !! We just purchased this BEAUTY from the older gentleman who has owned this car for a number of years and as you can clearly see in the pictures this was his pride and joy !! The 1967 Galaxie 500 LTD Two Door Hardtop was a stunning body style in 1967 and still is some 44 years later !! You may NOT find another one this NICE !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This car is NICE and is a DRY - SOLID - Eastern Washington - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western vehicle ! It still retains its factory original door mounted data plate shown in a picture below !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself, you won't be disappointed. THIS IS A QUALITY CAR !! This BEAUTY has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - GROUND POUNDING - "Z" code - Thunderbird - BIG BLOCK - 390 CID V8 Motor in it and running very well. Again this motor came from the factory with 315 HP, four barrel carb and 10.5:1 compression !! The previous owner told us that the engine was professionally completely rebuilt several years ago. Before we bought the car we had a local mechanic do a compression test on the motor and he found all eight cylinders to be right at 125lbs compression !! Sounds good too with the "Throaty" dual exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth - code "U" - C6 - Cruise - O - Matic three speed Automatic Transmission which also functions very well. The NICE (ALL ORIGINAL !!) code "G1" Black cloth and vinyl Interior is in good condition with a good ORIGINAL Black cloth and vinyl front seat with fold down center armest, NICE ORIGINAL Black cloth and vinyl rear seat with fold down center armrest, NICE (APPEARS ORIGINAL) Black full Vinyl top, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black sun visor's, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black headliner, good ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL door panels with correct LTD simulated walnut wood inserts, NICE ORIGINAL Black carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, NICE ORIGINAL dash with correct LTD simulated walnut wood inserts and a good ORIGINAL dash pad with several cracks only around the perferrated front speaker area. The code "T" Red exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL showing several chips and imperfections but is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the picture above and the 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES BELOW. The ORIGINAL code "G1" Black cloth and vinyl interior and the code "T" Red exterior with the ORIGINAL BLACK FULL VINYL top is a GREAT color combination indeed ! How could you get any better !! This Car is a great runner and a real nice looker and is nicely equipped including power steering, power brakes with disc's on the front, drivers side chrome remote exterior mirror, Original Ford Am radio which comes on but only static is heard, original day / night rear view mirror, original front and rear seat belts, nice aftermarket gauge cluster, the original clock which is not working, good heater and defroster and a nice clean trunk. This Galaxie 500 LTD Two Door Hardtop has great looks and is UNBELIEVABLY POWERFULL ! I drove this car for a week as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it drove flawlessly !! It doesn't have a squeak or rattle and rides as smooth as my new DeVille. This is a nice mostly ORIGINAL car !!! There are not many of these RARE BEAUTIES left on the roads for sure ! The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. The car also sports Nice factory original Ford - Correct for the LTD - stainless steel wheelcovers with nearly new whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this BEAUTY and really retains that clean factory look !! This vintage muscle car is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. Again this motor came from the factory with 315 HP, four barrel carb and 10.5:1 compression !! The previous owner told us that the engine was professionally completely rebuilt several years ago. Before we bought the car we had a local mechanic do a compression test on the motor and he found all eight cylinders to be right at 125lbs compression !! Sounds good too with the "Throaty" dual exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth - code "U" - C6 - Cruise - O - Matic three speed Automatic Transmission which also functions very well. We prefer a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment but we will also accept a bank cashiers check (US only) or a third party check but we will validate the checks authenticity and the funds must clear our account before the vehicle or the title to the vehicle is released to the buyer or the buyers agent. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. We prefere a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment as this is the safest for you and for us. We do not accept any paypal payments. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction ending. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
