I have had this car for several years. Was going to totally restore and never have. I am getting older and have other hobbies. This is one of 1393 that have survived. It is the original 383 Push button automatic.I had the motor redone about 3 years ago. It runs and drives. However, it currently has no exhaust system. The rust ion the car is only surface. The trunk bottom needs replaced. The floor boards are in good shape. The car is really better than the pictures. You see these cars selling for high dollars. Here is an easy project with the motor running. RARE RARE RARE. A 1956 desoto Convertible sold for over 300,000 at Barrett Jackson. This car is one of 1393 that were made in 1959.
