Vehicle Detail
1967 Volkswagen Beetle Highly Collectible Year for Volkswagen: Last Year of the Metal Dash Runs great. Starts first time, every time. Original engine, rebuilt 70,000 miles ago. Odometer reads 6,000. Interior is stripped, awaiting a complete interior restoration. The seats need re-upholstering. The floorboards have a few tiny, tiny holes that could be spot welded. The fronts of the rear wheel wells are rusted and need to be cut out and patched. Also, the rocker panels and heater channels are partially rusted. Other than those places, the body and frame are rust free. No bumpers. The body is de-chromed, California-style. The passenger door needs a new window mechanism. This car has the optional pop-out rear windows and the bullet-style front turn signals. Many extra parts are included in this sale: brake pads, spark plugs and wires, tailpipes, Empi leather shift knob, miscellaneous chrome, replacement belts, points, condenser, fuses, and more. Also, included is a $250 Yakima roof rack. This car could be a rewarding project and has been a source of reliable transportation to me for over six years, but I have to let it go. I am liquidating to pursue my recording career. Help me fuel my musical journey! On Oct-16-11 at 05:06:50 PDT, seller added the following information: 1967 Volkswagen Beetle Highly Collectible Year for Volkswagen: Last Year of the Metal Dash Runs great.
