2000 Volvo S40 1.9 Turbo. 2000 Volvo S40 with 162K. Automatic, Loaded with leather, sunroof, CD, alloys etc. Has all the volvo options. Very nice interior. This volvo cranks but does not start. If you crank it long enough sometimes you can get it to start, but It has a defective headgasket. The timing belt is OK and did not break. The transmission is in good shape, shifts smooth, and other than the motor, is in mechanically good shape. Allp the power options work including sunroof, and the interior is in Very nice shape for a 12 yr old car. Nice leather interior with little wear. On the outside the paint is fading with some clear coat pealing here and there, but would look good with a good buff and detail. The tires have about 30% tread left on the front and a little more in the rear. Has some paint chipping/spots on the front of the hood, and has some rust under the pass front door. Overall average shape body. This volvo is being sold with a copy of the current Rhode Island registration only. It does not have a title. (RI dmw does not issue titles on vehicles that are more than 10 yrs old) If you plan on registering this volvo, please check with your local motor vehicle office if you do not live in RI, CT, or a surrounding state that accepts a registration only and is aware of RI policy. if your local DMV does not accept a RI registration you will need to apply for a title thru the state of RI, and this will be the responsobility of the buyer.
