This factory original 1965 Impala SS is a good candidate for restoration. It runs and I have the documents for the motor and transmission work that was done to it. It was originality a gold car but is now with a flat black coat of point of it. From what I know, it was originally a New Mexico car and I purchased it out of Idaho where it was brought from New Mexico to be restored. I have yet to and am thinking I will not get around to restoring it so I am putting her back up for sale. I have other project that I need to tend to for now. The good: She runs and start right up. I was using her as a daily driver for awhile but she has been sitting most of the summer now. She still starts right up. Most of the electrical works great with what seems to be only bulb and some old wire issues that need to be changed. She drove me around in the dark and rain just fine. Most of the parts are still there but need TLC. The only major item that I see that is not original is the passenger fender and the carb. I put in a Carter carb when the original Rochester was acting up. Motor and tranny work were done. The Bad: She needs interior, alignment, and and some TLC be a more comfortable driver. The Ugly: She needs paint and some fender rust spots removed. Most of the Impala restoration catalog companies sell these body panel replacements. But, if a full restoration is on your project list, this will all be addressed and she will be a hot honey again some day. :) Give me a call with any questions you may have.
