Vehicle Detail
This is a great running and driving Willys Overland 4-wheel drive Wagon. It has a 283 Chevy V8 out of a truck, with a 2bbl carb. It has lake pipes that accommodate the engine very well. It still has the stock Willys transmission, transfer case and axles. The Chevy engine is the only non-original part of the wagon. Great tires and brakes. Has professionally tinted glass and only one crack in passenger side windshield. New wiper motors. It was originally green but is now desert camo. The paint is okay but has peeled in a couple spots. A sticker that was on it also took off some paint. It has some fake bullet holes and a bloody hand print on the door. The body is really nice for a Willys of its age. Floors and panels are solid. Its originally from Kentucky so it's never seen salt. The only filler thats on it is where dents have been. The front bucket seats are out of some '80s van. It doesn't have seats in back, just cargo room. Could have seats easily. The handle for the rear hatch is locked with no key, so you have to go in the back and take off a couple of screws for it to open. Its simple to do, or get a key made, or replace the handle with something else. The tail gate goes down nicely and is in good shape. I got the truck from the second owner, a Vietnam Vet who had it for 44 years. It needs cables to hold up the tail gate, drivers side door lock and thats about it. It has no headliner or inside panels in back, but you can carpet, panel, or leave it like it is. It is Rhino-lined now. Fun hot rod truck thats a great driver and is ready to go.Please write me with any questions you have. It is located in northern Minnesota about 120 miles up the North Shore from Duluth. Thanks, Jeff
