1982 Honda Ascot FT500 Ready to ride stock Honda FT500 with windshield. Can be restored the rest of the way as a collector, or used as a beginner bike as it is very nimble and forgiving at only 350lbs. In last 2 years, new tires, battery, petcock rebuild, front brakes, fork seals, air filter, and carb recently cleaned. Used it as a commuter bike for 3 years and now have it replaced with a 750. Bike is mechanically sound and rideable as is, but will need a top end gasket rebuild within one more season of riding as the cylinder gaskets are aged and weeping. I have seen the gasket kits online for around $100, but I just have not had the time or energy to replace them with my other projects. Also have a factory repair manual reprint, and one extra air filter and oil filter if wanted, included in the price. Price lowered from previous listing, will be put into storage for Wisconsin winter if not sold on this listing. Reserve is now set well under what my insurance has it listed at.
