This Scout is a reliable daily driver. It has the normal rusted out area behind the lower driver door,see picture. The rocker panel has some rust also, not noticeable except from underneath. The motor was rebuilt approx 12,000 miles ago. It has a strong motor. The vehicle is all stock except for the transmission. The original 3 speed transmission was replaced with a 4 speed with synchro 1 st gear. This makes driving a little nicer. The seats are in very good condition, the paint is driver quality. The tires ,all 5 of them, are 90%. I believe you could drive this cross country. I have owned this Scout for 15 years. Time to thin the herd. Vehicle will not be released until all payments are cleared. The milage listed is not accurate, the true milage is unknown.On Oct-16-11 at 14:29:26 PDT, seller added the following information:I was asked to look under the floor mats for rust. I removed the mats and found rust on the floor pan on the drivers side. There are 2 places on the left side against the wall that are dime size holes. The floor pan is not rusted through and seems solid. On a restoration, probably will want to replace part of the floor pan. The passenger side looks OKJ, no rust. If this changes any bidders mind, pls adv. me and I will remove your bid. Sorry, but I did not know about this problem/. I want to be as honest as possible.
