Up for auction is a 1979 Chevy Corvette Red with Tan Leather Automatic Transmission. The car has had the same owner for 15 or years, I have all the receipts of all work performed on the vette since 1996, oil changes, brakes tune ups etc. In around 2006 the engine was rebuilt, heads had a valve jod, carb was rebuilt etc costing around $6000.... The car runs great! After the engine rebuilt the car was barely used and then sat for the past 3 years or so un touched. The body is in great shape no major damage at all! The paint is at least 20 years old and its not perfect. The interior is again okay not perfect it 32 years old and as a driver its fine. The frame is solid I could find any major rust on it (Like almost ever old car on the planet it does have surface rust under the car not rot some people dont know the difference so i have to be clear!) The tires were replaced a few years ago but again cause the car hasn t been used they have very little miles on them. This car could be a very nice drive for someone but before you hope in and start driving it it is a 32 year old car and it has been unused for a few years, fluids should be checked, brakes bleed etc. That being said the car is sold as-is.
