1966 Ford Mustang Coupe For Sale This is a very clean 66 Mustang Coupe that is located in Auburn California. It is a very solid California car that has had much money and attention given to it. It is a great runner and driver and as you can see in the photos it is quite the looker as well. It is a 289 V8 car with the disc brake option and the C4 automatic transmission. No power steering, no power brakes. Brakes and shocks are all new, carb has been rebuilt, recently serviced all new belts and hoses, new water pump and heater core as well. The vinyl top was original on this car and it has been recently redone and looks fantastic. There was no rust under the top when it was redone which is great. Paint is very nice, body straight and solid and the 67 mustang wheels set it off very nicely. The interior is very fresh and clean...looks great! Modern radio in the dash and speakers in the door panels, but everything else appears very stock and proper. Door panels have some wrinkles but otherwise excellent. Headliner is like new and is well fit. Rear seat looks great. Seat belts at all spots so you can haul the kids. Dash pad is excellent. Really clean interior...this is a nice car inside and out! Blue California plates have been on the car since the 70's. Chrome looks nice, tires are good. There is really nothing quite like a classic Mustang...and this one being a clean and dry and nicely redone California car makes it a very attractive vehicle for the collector or weekend play toy. Classic 60's style, V8 power, and priced at a VERY reasonable level! Engine compartment is clean and presentable, no messy leaks or anything wacky like that. Turn the key and go! Under the engine is also decently clean...not concour level but certainl presentable. Rear end is clean, mufflers in good shape, body looks good underneath. Trunk has remnants of the original trunk liner in place and is in decent shape. Back outside to the shiny stuff! In closing this sure looks like a nice car. Great driver and play toy, many new parts and a solid foundation. We have it advertised for the owner here, he has had it for about 5 years and it has been a great car for him. The reserve is set at a very reasonable level and I think based on what he has told me and the photos he provided I see nothing scary and nothing needing replacement...the car appears good to go!
