Original owner of this 2003 BMW R1150RT. Actual mileage is under 11,000. Body color is Piedmont Red. The bike has never been tipped over or laid down. All accessories were purchased at the same time as the bike at A&S Motorcycles in Sacramento CA. Accessories include: 3M paint protection film on the tank, steering yoke, and lower chin fairing; weighted handle bar ends with throttle lock; Aeroflow headlight protector; mirror safety wire tethers; BMW top box trunk, flip out highway pegs that fold away into the spark plug recess; lower case guards on the valve covers; large kickstand plate; and stainless steel screw kit for all body fasteners. Issues/corrections: I replaced the battery in 2006 with a glass mat deep cycle. These batteries can be mounted at any angle, will charge fully even after complete discharge, and typically last 10 years. The left side H3 driving light bulb is burned out and I have not had the time to disassemble the fairing to replace it. The shifter arm came off at the splined shaft on the transmission. I replaced it and used thread lock so it will not happen again. Paint damage: there is a chip on the outside lower corner of the right mirror; there are three scratches on the left mirror - both from parking lots. There is a deep scuff in the lower fairing on the right side from the moving van, probably a box rubbing against the paint during a move. There are some scuffs across the tops of the saddle bags from shoes dragging while mounting the bike. I travel quite a bit and have moved three times in the past seven years for business and just do not have the time to ride the bike or for taking road tips.
