Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS with 6-speed transmission and many extras. I am only selling the vehicle in order to pay off my college loans so my loss is your gain! Although the vehicle has the following upgrades, it has not been beaten on or raced. I bought the car in 2006 while I was in the Army and it only accumulated 10,000 miles in the last 5 years. I just wasn't able to utilize it due to being away from home during that period. I am listing the details to the best of my knowledge, and I am pricing it to sell! The list of modifications is as follows: Lo-jack vehicle tracking system C5 Corvette wheels (tires have low use and lots of tread) Moser 12-bolt rear end with less than 5,000 miles on it (the stock rear end broke) Full-length headers Mild cam from Thunder Racing MTI Clear air lid SLP Loudmouth exhaust (removed the SLP muffler and replaced it with a Borla XR-1 muffler) Lou's short throw shifter 15% tint all around 1.5 inch spring lowering kit Fast Toys Ram Air intake Problem(s) I'm aware of: the paint on the hatch and on the hood has a few bubbles from the sun and is cracking in those spots. I can provide pictures upon request. I'm including a new set of brake pads, a $100 SLP car cover, and I am in the process of installing brand new window motors for the driver and passenger side. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at jchatw1@lsu.edu or call (985) 788-1431. If I am unable to answer, please leave a voice mail and I will return your call ASAP. The vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty, explicit or implied. On Oct-07-11 at 08:37:41 PDT, seller added the following information:The car has a replacement block in it due to me attempting to drive through my street when it had some standing water (maybe 6 inches). The ram air sucked some water in and it threw a rod. However, I had a local performance shop purchase and install the block which I have all receipts and documentation for. I can scan and email this to you upon request. It happened around approximately 29,000-30,000 miles (a couple weeks after my purchase of the vehicle) so there I have put roughly 12,000 miles on it since then with no problems. In addition, I also had that same shop perform in the installation of the Moser rear end. I found a few more mods that were listed for the car when I bought it: under drive pulley kit pacesetter long tube headers (ceramic coated) subframe connectors heads have been shaved .010 Here are the cam specs: 230/224-575/563 -110...the previous seller described it as "mild" and I think that's accurate seeing the way it drives.
