Hello AGAIN VW Enthusiasts!!! We have re-listed our VW Van with some IMPROVEMENTS !!! .GOOD LUCK & HAPPY BIDDING !!!! ) We really need to sell this to pay for our Wedding!!! This is an awesome Van!! NOTICE TO ZERO BIDDERS - Due to the "Zero Bidder Scam" (as I call it), If You fall into this category, PLEASE contact me BEFORE you place a bid, or YOUR BID WILL BE DISALLOWED !!! This is a 1970- "Historic Tax Class" VW Micro-Mini Bus/Camper 9-Seater. This IS NOT a Westfalia Edition Van. It is a true VW Camper. However, it DOES require a complete restoration. We ARE NOT VW enthusiasts and do not possess the knowledge to restore this Van ourselves. It was purchased out of Miami in February 2006, intended to be professionally restored. However, this has never occurred. Instead of allowing this great German classic to sit any further, we decided to sell it to a VW enthusiast for restoration. Although a new clutch, shifter, and brakes were installed two years ago, not much else has been done to this VW. It DOES run, but it needs help starting (i.e.- you have to use a shot of starting fluid & it will start and run) & therefore IS NOT road worthy. Many extra parts are included with this Van, including an extra VW block/engine. It was included with the purchase of the VW from its previous owner & is being included with this auction (if the buyer desires it). But its condition cannot be verified. The chrome was removed from the exterior (to include the large "VW"emblem from the front, but is still with the Van. The rims/hubcaps ARE original VW eqipment. The ORIGINAL spare (interior mounted) is in place (although the tire requires replacement) as well as the back bumper is not mounted but IS INCLUDED with the vehicle (picture included). The camper "pop-top" IS a functioning top, and have included a picture for preview. The interior remains virtually moisture free. Recently, we raised the pop-top to see it's condition and verify its operation for sale. As you can see, it DOES raise and lower properly. The interior has SOME of its original panels, but they also require restoration/replacement. The fold-down table is original and functioning. The previous owners had a 'tounge & groove" style flooring in the van that is not original. The rear seat is NOT fastened to the flooring. Therefore, the seating is NOT in its original configuration. The new owner would have to determine what it was. We do not have this information available to guide you. Rust is present, but the exterior does not appear to be "ate up." Although the Mileage is listed at 128,004, the Title mileage shows 000000. This is because for the age of the vehicle it is exempt from mileage tracking requirements for the State of Mississippi. As I believe this is obvious, it needs to be stated: THERE IS NO WARRANTY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS VEHICLE< EITHER IMPLIED OR WRITTEN. This auction is for this Vehicle in an "AS - IS" Condition.
