THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Up for bids is a 79 Ford Ranchero GT Brougham, It has what I think is the 351, 2 barrel, engine with an automatic trans. The car runs, drives, and shifts great. The air conditioning on this car still blows cold.I havent driven it a lot because the tires are pretty bad. The interior has the carpet missing and there has been 2 T-Bird, power bucket seats installed. I am sure the carpet was just removed to save the floors and they are in great condition. The dash pad has very little cracking on it and the door panels are really nice. The oil gauge and the clock dont seem to work but the others do. All the lights work also. Headliner is missing also but all the trim etc to put a new one in is there. Just came down from age. Remember this car is over 30 years old. As you can see from the pics I have begun stripping the paint off it for a repaint. The body has some surface rust spots on it but VERY LITTLE rust through. The bottom of the right front fender has some rust through and just behing the left rear wheel has some but nothing major. There is a little damage at the right side quarter panel but an easy fix, again, not major. Bottoms of doors are very good and the glass rolls up and down with ease. Inside the bed is solid except for a couple VERY SMALL holes, I have added a pic of the worst one, very minor, very solid elsewhere. All in all the body on this car is unbelieveably solid. Most all the trim is there except for the corners on the bed at the rear window, and the tops at the tailgate. The pics probably show this. The tailgate latch works fine but does need a handle. The car has the painted rally wheels with all trim rings and center cabs present. If you are looking for a running driving project, this is the car for you. Very little rust to have to deal with and you could drive it as you work on it in your spare time. If you have any questions please drop me an email and I will get back to you right away. I may consider trades on this, mainly interested in Elcaminos, GMC Sprints, and Cadillacs but let me know what you have. There is a reserve on this nice project Ranchero but I will not reveal it so please just bid what youre comfortable although I am open to offers.You dont have to break the bank to get it but I cant give it away either because solid cars are hard to find. Its better to buy one like this for less money than one thats been painted and you have no idea whats under it. Delivery is possible depending on your location. A $250 non-refundable deposit is due at auctions end and the balance due in 3 days. It can sit here awhile as long as its paid for in full as auction states.
