Vehicle Detail
I am sleeing due to divorce and stopped racing motocross, so I no longer need this truck. E-Bay will not give the correct option for the engine. The correct engine is 4.6. I just purchased the truck in July of 2010. Here are the thing that is know but are not very sure of. It does have a replacement rebuilt Ford transmision within last two years, but I do not have the reciept. I did meet the owner as it was traded in at a local Ford dealer and we crossed paths. He gave me some history and still loved this truck. He purchased a new Ford F150. The paint is a one off red color with flames. I tried to take a picture to show them. It has a chrome rear diff cover. Install are Westin step bars. The lift kit is Fabtech but I do not know if it is a 6 or 8 kit. Installed are Amercian racing rims with center caps that are still there. The bed liner was prayed in and some of it came up, so I used black spray paint to make it look good. The exhaust is cat back flowmaster and the right tail pipe rusted on the tip so I pulled it off. It will need a repalcement right tail pipe. The head unit is a Sony c/d player aftermarket. Here is what I did and know; Install 4 Nitto 35"x12.5x18 trail grapplers; mudd tires right when I purchased it a 141,909 miles. Yes I did not even put 5,000 miles on it. If you live in Maryland you will be responsaible to pass Maryland state inspection. The two issues you will have is the lift blocks in the rear need to be one piece. Not telling what to do JB weld and paint them and they will become one piece. The second is the front tires are just wide enought that somebody might say something about sticking out. The rear are under the fender, but the front fenders are tappered in, so there is the two issues I had. I replased 1 O2 sensor. Adjusted rear brakes they are on the tight side because it does not stop that great in emergency with all the tire mass. New front brake hoses and flushed brake system. They are a little grabby on left rear tire when you first start drivng I have them as tight as I could get them. Normal dirivng you will never notice the little longer stopping distance. I install kenwood speaker all four. Replace all dash cluster bulbs. Install new leather wrapped steering wheel. Rebuild steeing column due to play. Replace multifunction switch. Repalce 2 coils and all 8 spark plugs. Cleaned the induction system and injectors. Replaced upper and lower ball joints. Replaced inner and outer tie rod ends. Just did the recall 11S21 for new fuel tank straps. Had lock smith cut new key so I did not have worn out key and lubed all latches and locks. The truck is great I would drive it anywear. I did super in the last big snow storm were everybody got stuck but me. I have never taken it in the mud and looks like he did not either. If you need to know why I did so much and still selling it I also have and am keeping a F350 2003 7.3 dually with 55,000 miles. Unless somebody offered $27,500.00. I have told you everything I can about this truck. Enjoy; The truck is sold as is and no warranty. here are a few and I mean only a few nicks in the paint. I have a bottle of touch up paint a Ford dealer tried to match as good as possible. On Oct-03-11 at 05:16:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Note; I went by the Ford dealer today. The engine is a 5.4. It is not a 4.6 I did not know. Wanted to double check that for the accurate information possible.
