I really hate to sell this truck , but i got my hands on a crewcab,so i need the money to put into that. i have owned this truck for 13 years ,so i have a lot of blood sweat and tears in it.i can honestly say i have never had a more reliable truck though.it is a 1978 f-250 supercab long bed trailer special,155 inch wheelbase.it has a 1970 460 in it ,only has about 10000 miles since rebuild,bored .030,crank is .010/.010 DOVE heads,weiand stealth intake, mallory unilite distributor,new timing cover,edelbrock 750 cfm carb.engine was professionally built,and it is an absolute powerhouse. the only drawback is that with the high compression you have to run 93 octane.everything related to the engine was new when it was installed. 4 row radiator ,belts hoses,water pump , fuel pump. C6 transmission was rebuilt just before engine,it has heavy duty clutch packs and a shift kit.shifts very solid..dana 60 rearend,with 3.07 ratio and a powerlock limited slip.trust me ...it needs the high gears and limited slip,as it is you have to take off carefully on a wet road..I did use it to pull a 32 foot travel trailer a hundred miles ,and the truck had no complaints.it has cold a.c., heater works has dual fuel tanks,both work.everything on this truck works perfectly except cruise control. basically rust free truck,it did have a few really small holes in front of hood,and dime size holes on bottom of doors,body shop fixed them before they painted it and rust has not come back.interior was completely re done,seat recovered ,with headliner to match,new carpet.dash pad is excellent with no cracks.has tachometer,100 mph speedometer,pioneer cd player.bed has spray in liner.deep weathergaurd tool box.. brakes are good,steering is good,tires are good...285 75 16 on 16 x 10 aluminum wheels. i really dont know what else to tell about it .i am in north central florida , if you have any questions please feel free to ask.this truck is ready to get in and drive anywhere.i can even drive it to you if you cover expenses.
