Vehicle Detail

Original, non-smoking owner, is selling a very clean, well-maintained F250 XLT Extended Cab truck. This vehicle has been used predominantly as a family vehicle. Hauling has been light and the bed has been protected by a 4'x8' sheet of plywood so it has not endured the hard life of a "work truck". The truck has always been stored in the house garage, helping maintain its great appearance and condition. Carpet mats have kept the flooring in good shape. It has recently passed both Virginia state (in August) and emission inspections (in June). Accessories are listed below and are all in working condition: 5.8L V8 Engine A/C Automatic Transmission Cruise Control Power Windows Bench seating (seats 6) Rear Seat flips over and back folds down to form flat surface for storage XLT Option Package Towing Package AM/FM Radio / Cassette Player Tilt Steering Wheel ABS Brakes Good condition Michelin Tires Dual Switchable Fuel Tanks Full size Long Bed (8 ft) Trailer Brake system Class C Trailer Hitch Receiver installed. Ready to tow! Extendable "Flip Out" side mirrors (for use when towing) Husky Tool Box included with the truck (see pictures) Here are the known problems with the vehicle: A/C / Heater blower motor makes rumbling noise when engine/blower is first started. The noise does not always occur, eventually goes away, and the fan has always worked. Front seat upholstery on driver's side is ripped near door (see picture). This is the only apparent worn area on the upholstery. The front seat release driver's-side lever (to get access to the rear bench seat) cable has disconnected, making the lever non-functional. It has been like this for many years but hasn't been fixed because we have easily adjusted to reaching down and manually lifting the release. Add-on slide rails from a 5th wheel trailer hitch remain in the bed and, although they have been kept painted, are showing signs of rust Small paint chip on front hood and on front grill (see the 10th picture showing close-up of front grill/hood right side). This was the extent of the reported "accident" damage caused by a young man running out in front of the slow-moving truck to retrieve a dog and subsequently getting hit. Fortunately the vehicle was almost completely stopped at time of impact and neither truck nor man sustained much injury. Ford makes a great truck. Hate to part with it but our family is growing and our needs for a large truck are diminishing! Please feel free to ask any questions, come take a test drive, have additional pictures sent to you, or anything else that will help you decide whether this is the truck for you.
