1979 Ford F-150 Custom. Rebuilt 351 engine (around 100 miles) with a Comp Cams RV cam (268H), Edlebrock Performer Aluminum Intake, Holly 600 CFM carburetor, electric choke, and headers with dual exhaust and with new mufflers. A new radiator and starter were installed with the engine overhaul. The transmission is a 4 speed with "Granny" 1st and a 205 transfer case (gear drive). Just installed a new balanced drive shaft, inputs and u-joints. The truck has a 4 inch lift with 35 inch tires on 15 inch wheels. There is also a new bench seat with a Cordura cover installed to protect it. There is a custom made steel rack in the bed and each bumper is custom made steel; the front capable of handling a winch, and the rear a hitch. The truck is pretty solid with a few dings on the left side - one on the fender and one on the door, and a few paint chips on the front. There is a spot of corrosion on the left rear corner of the cab, and another small spot at the doubler above the left rear wheel well. (see pictures). The rest of the truck is clean. The engine is tight, the steering is tight, the transmission is good in all gears, and the truck drives very well down the road. While I have made every effort to describe the truck accurately, and am confident that it is in very good overall condition, this vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty stated or implied. At the end of the auction, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auction closing, and the remainder paid in full within 7 days and prior to delivery. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, however I will be happy to assist as I can, and I could possibly be pursuaded to deliver within a reasonable distance for expenses. The truck is also for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells otherwise, however once the reserve is met the auction will run its course.
