This is a 1996 G-30 6.5 DIESEL VAN..This is a 1 ton model that runs strong and is a great work truck..It was previously a mail truck for a Pa. school district and was fleet maintained On Aug-11-11 at 16:59:21 PDT, seller added the following information: 1996 Chevrolet G-30 6.5 DIESEL VAN - 227K Miles - This Van is strictly meat for work..It has been fleet maintained & I've owned it about two years and have done alot of additional work including all front end parts,ball joints,tie rods and new Die Hard Batteries...It has a solid strong Diesel Engine..There is some bad rust on several parts of the body but is repairable with preformed clips..There is a small hard shift from 1st to 2nd but all gears seem to shift fine and I believe it's a sensor but had not gotten to it before I took it off the road..I had replaced tires about 20K ago and they are 16" "E" rated 10 ply tires..Snow's on the rear that are 75-80% and the front are 70-75%..There is a cage that seperates the front cab from the rest of the van and it also has a plexiglass boundry with the cage..It has A/C that work's fine and everything works,heat,ac,and all lights interior and exterior..There will be a $500 DP via Paypal and then work out the details for the pickup..I would drive this van anywhere..A Great Heavy Duty Work Van - Good For Any Trade - Also Get's 22MPG HWY. & 18MPG CITY On Aug-12-11 at 07:33:03 PDT, seller added the following information: The True Mileage is 228,245 I'm not sure but am definitely sure that there was a Jasper Transmission installed about 60K ago..The 6.5 Diesel also in the paperwork I have from the school say's it's a naturally aspirated engine..I thought it was a turbo the way it ran..very strong powerful engine..This Van also has ABS brake's, AM-FM radio, and I'm showing some dents it has in the back door and right front fender..All in all it's a work truck - van and had alot done to the drive train...
