I took the truck to a Chevy Dealership to see what is the problem with it! It turns out, it needs the following: Fuel Regulator+Harness Glow Plug Assembly Needs to replace the EBCM and BPMV I also went ahead and got the oil changed! I also did some research with the owner of the truck, my boss. On 5/12/2010 the truck was serviced at Empire Truck and Auto located in Augusta GA. Replaced a bypass hose above the water pump. On 5/7/2010 they removed and replaced the lower radiator hose. On 5/13/2010 the truck was again at the same shop only to this time to replace the water pump. $1109.94 just to fix a leak> ouch. Them the last time the truck was serviced at the same place on 7/7/2010 for Injectors,replace transition filler pipe, replace glow plugs, head gasket, 5 different types of gaskets, at the end a whopping $7550.92 spent. The truck was still having these problems, but nothing was done about it. I have copies of receipts if you would like, please let me know and I'll email you a copy, also if you wan to get the parts and take it to John Miles Chevy in Conyers GA I have the invoice, which the money I paid to check out the problem will be deducted from the repair! This truck was used in construction and it was very dirty inside the cabin, I got most of it cleaned out. The Husky mats that were is, are no longer usable! The left passenger side window broke, it needs to be replaced. Also the door knob on the extended left side needs to be replaced. You can open from the inside, but not from out side. The A/C does not work. The service light comes on and off so does the parking lights and ABS brakes, took to my mechanic and he thinks its just a sensor since the fluids and hoses are all good. All leather seats, with lumbar support and heated seats! All electric front seats. Drivers seat, its in a rough shape as you can see in the pictures. Replaced both stock 720ca battery and replaced with Gold Advance Auto Parts battery they are 800ca each and have a 3 year replacement warranty! I will include receipt! The truck can hold 35gal of diesel! All tires are in great shape! *except the 2 rear ones on the drivers side* They are bad on the out side* **will need to replace soon** The truck could use an oil change, since I can't tell when was the last time it was changed. The hood does not stay open, since the springs on the brackets are broken, this is why I have a 2x4 there! The tail gate handle is broken, so its the latch on the inside. But you can still open it and close, it just takes a minute or less. The tail gate on both sides are bent, and on the right side, the screw that holds the tailgate with the cable is missing. The bed is 8ft long The rear quarter panels are damaged, last I heard, who ever was driving the truck fell on a ditch! It might need to be replaced as well, since none of the lights on the quarter panel works! The amber lights on top of the truck needs to be replaced, since only the middle ones works. There is no cruise control in the truck, and there is a brake controller for when you want to haul some heavy stuff. Hyper tech Power Management III Included, it can read bad codes in the engine. The windshield has a few crakes which is recommended to be replaced! I drove on the highway a few times and the engine and the Alliinson 1000 shift just fine.
