Get over 45 miles to the gallon in this Diesel Golf. Buy fuel every 600 miles. I bought this car new with all the options literally right off the showroom floor. This includes the Monsoon radio with a trunk CD changer It comes with a full set of keys and owners documentation as well as shop manuals and a serial cable to plug into the diagnostic port. I also have a full set of maintenance records. Car is in excellent mechanical shape. Has a full set of Michelin tires. Both front and rear brakes have been replaced with aftermarket street pads and drilled and slotted disks for a little better brake performance. They should last a very long time. The fronts were just replaced last year. Motor has had timing belts replaced after 60K and 120K as required by the dealer. Oil changed with full synthetic oil at least every 5 thousand miles. Never in an accident and garaged until about a year ago when I bought the corvette. This car is quick and nimble. It handles well in heavy traffic and is the ultimate freeway cruiser with full cruise control. I have made over 700 miles between fill-ups on long highway trips at about 70 miles per hour and you can get over 50 mpg if you slow down a bit. You can easily put 4 people and all their luggage in this car. It holds a lot for it's small size. Paint is nice and interior is good overall with wear consistent with commuting and no rips or tears. Flaw list: few chips in bumper paint, scratches in rear bumper, light scratches in passenger door down low, center armrest hinge is broken but it still fits, passenger side door panel has some puffing in the fabric where it is not flat.
